Recap: Maclay Marauders vs. Wakulla War Eagles
There's no place like home for the Maclay Marauders, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They took down Wakulla 33-19 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Maclay also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.
Maclay got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lauren Guyer out in front who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Aleeza Moore, who scored nine points.
Maclay pushed their record up to 10-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. As for Wakulla, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maclay will take on Sneads at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wakulla, they will be playing at home against St. John Paul II at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
