Football Recap: Metcalfe County Takes a Loss

Metcalfe County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 42-6 defeat at the hands of the Somerset Briar Jumpers.

Metcalfe County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Somerset, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Metcalfe County is set to take on their familiar foe Green County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Somerset will face off against rival Clinton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
