Kings Mountain strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wren Hurricanes.

Kings Mountain had a senior duo take command as Ava Tipton had 14 digs and one assist and Madi Broome had eight digs and two assists.

Kings Mountain's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Wren, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Looking ahead, Kings Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Franklin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wren, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
