The Sheldon Huskies will take on the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs in a tournament on Thursday. Sheldon is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Last Friday, Sheldon got the win against Cosumnes Oaks by a conclusive 16-2. Considering the Huskies have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Micah Kennedy was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off seven hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI and two doubles. Archbishop Mitty's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.
