Baseball Recap: Angleton Comes Up Short

Angleton saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell 5-1 to the Clear Brook Wolverines. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Angleton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Davian Barrera, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base marked the first that Barrera has snagged this season.

Angleton now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Clear Brook, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Angleton will head out on the road to face off against Alvin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clear Brook, they will be taking part in a tournament against Strake Jesuit at 12:30 p.m. on Friday.
