Basketball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Holland Dutchmen 77-46. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 621st, while the Dutchmen are ranked 292nd).

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Holland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Alden at 6:30 p.m. on January 22nd. As for Holland, they will face off against Eden at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
