L'Anse Creuse North typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday St. Clair proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Crusaders, sneaking past 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory on Tuesday.

The win made it two in a row for St. Clair and bumps their season record up to 16-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for L'Anse Creuse North, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. St. Clair will challenge Algonac at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they will take on Marine City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
