Volleyball Recap: North Salinas Comes Up Short

North Salinas suffered their biggest loss since February 26th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trailblazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

North Salinas was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Rancho San Juan work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 28-26, 25-20.

This is the second loss in a row for North Salinas and nudges their season record down to 4-12. As for Rancho San Juan, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season.

Coincidentally, North Salinas and Rancho San Juan will both be playing Everett Alvarez the next time they take the court. The Trailblazers will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Vikings will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
