Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Aggieland Homeschool

Aggieland HomeSchool picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They strolled past the Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool Knights with points to spare, taking the game 74-57. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 447th in Texas, while the Knights are ranked 146th in Oklahoma).

It was another big night for Micah Krajca, who dropped a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. Ethan Cox was another key player, going 7-for-14 to rack up 18 points and six assists.

The win made it two in a row for Aggieland HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 21-11. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points over those games. As for Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 25-16 record this season.

Aggieland HomeSchool will square off against Houston HomeSchool on Thursday. Houston HomeSchool knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 17 matches -- so hopefully Aggieland HomeSchool likes a good challenge. Oklahoma City Knights HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
