Basketball Recap: Wootton Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

Wootton won the last time they faced Watkins Mill and things went their way on Friday too. The Wootton Patriots walked away with a 59-48 victory over the Watkins Mill Wolverines.

Sammy Alexandre had an outrageously good game as he went 7 for 15 on his way to 19 points along with six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Humphries, who posted nine points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

Wootton has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Watkins Mill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7.

Wootton will be playing at home against Damascus at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Watkins Mill has already played their next match, a 100-78 loss against Blake on the 27th.
