Basketball Recap: Tulare Union Comes Up Short

Tulare Union and Righetti squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Tulare Union had to settle for second. They fell 70-60 to the Righetti Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tribe of the 60-57 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2018.

Tulare Union's defeat dropped their record down to 24-6. As for Righetti, they pushed their record up to 19-12 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Tulare Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Righetti, they will square off against Central Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Righetti knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matchups -- so hopefully Central Valley Christian likes a good challenge.
