Softball Recap: Granville Central Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Granville Central's offense. They came up short against the South Granville Vikings on Friday, falling 16-0. The defeat leaves the Panthers still looking for their first win of the season.

Granville Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for South Granville, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Granville Central and South Granville will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Panthers see the field they'll take on Durham School of the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for South Granville, their break will end when they face Vance County at 5:00 p.m. on the 8th.
