Wyomissing extended their winning streak to six on Saturday, bumping them up to 6-0. They blew past the Donegal Indians 48-22. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won five contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

As for Donegal, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Wyomissing is ranked 22nd).

When it comes to explaining why Donegal lost, don't look at Leelan Baughman. Despite the final result, he rushed for 104 yards on only ten carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. The Indians are 2-1 when Baughman posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Coming up, Wyomissing will challenge Daniel Boone at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will be up against the Blazers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Donegal, they will take on Twin Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
