Baseball Recap: Aransas Pass Takes a Loss

Aransas Pass extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 6-15-1 in the process. They lost 18-12 to the Odem Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on April 4th.

As for Odem, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games.

For Odem's part, Evan Nunez was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Nunez has posted since back in March of 2024. Gio Beltran also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

As of now, neither Aransas Pass nor Odem have any future games scheduled.
