Football Recap: Marion Harding Comes Up Short

Marion Harding lost against Ashland back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Presidents were outmatched by the Arrows and fell 42-7. The Presidents were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Marion Harding's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Ashland, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Marion Harding will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Lima Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ashland, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Clyde at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
