Football Game Preview: Las Plumas Thunderbirds vs. Orland Trojans

The Las Plumas Thunderbirds will be playing at home against the Orland Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Las Plumas and Corning were almost perfectly matched up, but Las Plumas suffered an agonizing 21-20 loss. Las Plumas has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Orland put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Paradise 63-6 on the road. Fans of Orland have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.

Orland got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Zane Frailey out in front who rushed for 224 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries. Frailey's longest rush was for an incredible 90 yards. Another player making a difference was Luke Schager, who rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

Orland's victory bumped their season record to 7-0 while Las Plumas' defeat dropped theirs to 5-2.
