Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They came up short against the Iowa City Little Hawks, falling 67-45. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 48-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Iowa City, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-24 record this season.
