Softball Recap: West Fargo Falls to Sheyenne in First Game of Season

West Fargo unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Sheyenne Mustangs by a score of 8-6 on Thursday. The Packers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Sheyenne now has a winning record of 2-1.

West Fargo has already played their next contest (against Fargo North), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sheyenne, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Horace at 4:30 p.m.
