Da Vinci came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Rose of Sharon. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.
Da Vinci had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-9.
Da Vinci's win bumped their record up to 28-3-1. As for Rose of Sharon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Coming up, after both having extra time off, Da Vinci and Jesus Chapel will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th. The Dragons are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Rose of Sharon, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calvary Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
