Basketball Recap: Farmington Comes Up Short

Farmington suffered their closest loss since January 11, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Prior Lake Lakers by a score of 46-43. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Prior Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Farmington will take on Eastview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eastview will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Farmington surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prior Lake, they will square off against Eagan at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eagan is on a three-game streak of home wins, Prior Lake a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
