Baseball Recap: Brookfield Academy's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Brookfield Academy gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with a 9-5 win over the Kenosha Christian Life Eagles. The victory was just business as usual for the Blue Knights, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Garrett Priebe was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Connor Nicholson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Nick Roth was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Brookfield Academy's record now sits at 3-0. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they dropped their record down to 2-3 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookfield Academy will venture away from home to face off against Milwaukee Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Kenosha Christian Life, they will head out to challenge University School of Milwaukee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
