Soccer Recap: Chesapeake Comes Up Short

Chesapeake scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 9-4 to the Piketon Redstreaks. Surprisingly, this marked Chesapeake's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Lily Helmstetler and Hollie Moore scored all four of Chesapeake's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Chesapeake's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Piketon, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chesapeake will welcome South Point at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Piketon, they will be playing at home against Waverly at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
