Vermilion Catholic's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Delcambre as they made off with a 16-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Oakdale's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Alexandria, falling 10-0. Considering the last time the Warriors couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Vermilion Catholic's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Oakdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-13.
