Volleyball Game Preview: Oak Ridge Trojans vs. Pleasant Grove Eagles

The Oak Ridge Trojans will square off against the Pleasant Grove Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Oak Ridge is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Mountain House. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Meanwhile, Pleasant Grove hadn't done well against Jesuit recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Eagles came out on top against the Marauders by a score of 3-1.

While Pleasant Grove might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Jesuit scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 24-26, 25-18, 25-23.

Pleasant Grove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. As for Oak Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 28-3.

Oak Ridge beat Pleasant Grove 3-1 in their previous matchup back in May of 2022. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
