Basketball Recap: Eastside Skates Past Palmdale Academy Charter School with Ease

While Eastside didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They blew past the Palmdale Academy Charter School Jaguars 69-20 on Monday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 30 points or more this season.

Eastside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenneth Harris, who posted ten points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Harris a new career-high in steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zhakari Fulcher, who went 5 for 6 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Eastside and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Eastside will head out to face off against Antelope Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Eastside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Palmdale Academy Charter School, they will face off against Trona at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Palmdale Academy Charter School is facing Trona at the right time seeing as Trona is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
