Recap: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Westosha Central Falcons
After a string of four wins, the Indian Trail Hawks's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of Westosha Central by a score of 58-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Indian Trail still got an impressive performance from Mj Stackhouse, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 19 rebounds. Stackhouse scored a full 53.6% of Indian Trail's points, the ninth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Konrad Anderson, who scored eight points.
Indian Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Westosha Central, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
Indian Trail and St. Catherine's will round out the year against one another at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday at. Westosha Central will finish 2023 at home by hosting Racine Case at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Racine Case knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Westosha Central likes a good challenge.
