Basketball Recap: Bowling Green Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wellsville-Middletown on Friday, Bowling Green came back down to earth. The Bowling Green Bobcats fell 69-56 to the Palmyra Panthers on Saturday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Bowling Green's defeat dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Palmyra, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Coming up, Bowling Green will face off against Clopton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Clopton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests. As for Palmyra, they will challenge Clark County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
