North Crawford put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the De Soto Pirates 44-16. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.

Leading North Crawford to victory were Damien McCormick and Sawyer Stluka. McCormick picked up 47 receiving yards and two scores, while Stluka picked up 84 receiving yards and one TD. Stluka's longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards.

North Crawford was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 342 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in three consecutive matchups.

North Crawford's record now sits at 4-0. As for De Soto, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Crawford will venture away from home to challenge Monticello at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for De Soto, they will head out to take on Wisconsin Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will be up against the Vanguards' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
