Recap: Vance Charter Knights vs. Falls Lake Firebirds

Vance Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell victim to a rough 13-5 defeat at the hands of the Falls Lake Firebirds. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Vance Charter of the 6-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Vance Charter saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shawn Thomas Journigan, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and a double. Julius Burke was another key contributor, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
