Football Game Preview: Laurel Bulldogs vs. Delmar Wildcats + How To Watch

The Laurel Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Delmar Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Delmar took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Laurel, who comes in off a win.

Laurel is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Delaware's top teams: Sussex Tech, who was ranked 21st at the time (Laurel was ranked 19th). The Bulldogs came out on top against the Ravens by a score of 14-6 on Thursday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Delmar played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 33-7 to Indian River. The Wildcats were down 26-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Laurel now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Delmar, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Laurel couldn't quite get it done against Delmar when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 19-6. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
