High Point Academy's matchup on Friday was close up to the half, which is when they kicked things up a notch. Everything went their way against the Liberty Red Devils as the High Point Academy Grizzlies made off with a 71-48 win. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

High Point Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaden McNeil out in front who posted ten points along with five assists and five steals. McNeil is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerry Jones, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Despite the loss, Liberty still got an impressive performance from Logan Smith, who went 5-for-10 en route to 13 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Kendrick Jackson, who earned nine points and six rebounds.

High Point Academy's record now sits at 21-3. As for Liberty, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-14.

High Point Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 88-73 win against Landrum on the 11th. As for Liberty, they have also already played their next matchup, a 55-49 victory against Brashier Middle College Charter on the 11th.
