Logan-Rogersville had already won 12 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 13 on Saturday. They never let the Belton Pirates get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Logan-Rogersville's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Belton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Coincidentally, Logan-Rogersville and Belton will both be playing Lee's Summit the next time they take the field. The Pirates will head out to face the Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
