Soccer Game Preview: Lubbock vs. Plainview

The Lubbock Westerners will challenge the Plainview Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lubbock will be strutting in after a win while Plainview will be coming in after a defeat.

Lubbock is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They beat Coronado by a goal, winning 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Westerners as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Plainview has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 4. They came up short against Caprock on Friday, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 624th, while the Longhorns are ranked 106th).

Lubbock's win bumped their record up to 3-13-2. As for Plainview, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14-4.
