Basketball Recap: West Shore Takes a Loss

West Shore and Edgewood squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but West Shore had to settle for second. They fell 29-20 to the Edgewood Red Wolves. The Wildcats have struggled against the Red Wolves recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, West Shore saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Eliza Schram posted six points and five boards.

West Shore's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Edgewood, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-10 record.

West Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Edgewood, they and Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Edgewood surely won't give up without a fight.
