            Softball Recap: Ray Bearcats vs. Dysart Demons        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Round Valley, Ray was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dysart Demons, sneaking past  13-12. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Bearcats' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The team  relied heavily on  Julissa Garcia, who  went 3-for-4 with six  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  RBI.  Kaylee Servant was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Ray  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .767. They are  a perfect 3-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
The  victory  got Ray back to even at 3-3. As for Dysart,  they are  on  a  seven-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
 Ray has already played their next contest,  a  14-11  win against ALA - Anthem South on the 14th. As for Dysart, they will face off against Lee Williams at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Dysart has given up an average of 15 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
