Volleyball Recap: Macy Smith's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Robertsdale over Davidson + How To Watch

Robertsdale lost against Davidson back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Golden Bears took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Golden Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Robertsdale ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22.

Robertsdale lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Macy Smith, who had 14 assists and four digs.

Robertsdale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Davidson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Robertsdale has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Bryant on the 9th. As for Davidson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Faith Academy on the 5th.
