Basketball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

If Sterling was riding high fresh off their 66-34 takedown of Lee last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Sterling Rangers fell 55-48 to the Port Arthur Memorial Titans on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Titans: they've now lost six in a row.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Sterling will venture away from home to square off against Barbers Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Arthur Memorial, they will square off against Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
