Abbeville won the last time they faced Thornwell and things went their way on Friday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 13-5 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Abbeville now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Thornwell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.

Abbeville will face off against Ware Shoals at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hornets have averaged an impressive 10.3 runs per game this season. Thornwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
