Volleyball Recap: Irmo Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Irmo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Silver Foxes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Irmo started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-14, 25-15.

Dutch Fork can attribute much of their success to Macey Rodgeres-Pedersen, who had seven digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Rodgeres-Pedersen a new career-high. Paige Mundy also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Irmo's loss dropped their record down to 5-17-1. As for Dutch Fork, the victory snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-11 record.

As of now, neither Irmo nor the Silver Foxes have any future games scheduled.
