            The Jefferson Wildcats will face off against the Paulding Panthers at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
Things were looking good for Jefferson after they put the first  run on the board on Thursday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Crestview by a score of  4-3. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
 Jefferson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jaxon Rahrig, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.  Trevor French also deserves some recognition as  he  brought in his first  RBI of the season.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Paulding). They walked away with  an   8-5  win over Edgerton  on Tuesday. The  victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.
 Paulding's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
