Basketball Recap: Estacada Takes a Loss

Estacada lost against Newport back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Estacada Rangers fell 60-48 to the Newport Cubs. The Rangers just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Estacada's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Newport, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Estacada will venture away from home to square off against Ridgeview at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ridgeview will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Estacada surely won't give up without a fight. As for Newport, they will head out to face off against Molalla at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
