Volleyball Recap: Rayne Takes a Loss

Rayne lost against Teurlings Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wolves came up short against the Rebels, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 25-17.

Carsyn Fontenot went supernova For Teurlings Catholic., getting 29 digs. Those 29 digs gave Fontenot a new career-high. Bailee Hebert also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Rayne's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Teurlings Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coming up, Rayne will welcome Lafayette at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Teurlings Catholic, they are taking a road trip to face off against Notre Dame at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
