Founders Classical Academy is 2-7 against Awaken Christian since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Founders Classical Academy Centurions will face off against the Awaken Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. Founders Classical Academy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Founders Classical Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 74-16 victory over American Heritage Academy. The Centurions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Founders Classical Academy found their leader in sophomore Miles Stine, who posted 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stine has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jake Tobiasz, who put up ten points.

Meanwhile, Awaken Christian came up short against GV Christian on Friday, falling 69-43. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Founders Classical Academy pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Awaken Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Everything came up roses for Founders Classical Academy against Awaken Christian in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 59-29 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Founders Classical Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
