It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bedford had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen a 6-0 shutout. The Buccaneers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matchups by six runs or more this season.

The win (which was Bedford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.0 runs on average over those games. As for Tewksbury Memorial, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 15-1.
