Football Game Preview: Burlington Red Devils vs. Melrose Red Raiders

Burlington hasn't had much luck against Melrose recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Red Devils will head out to take on the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. Burlington will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

On Friday, Burlington beat Wilmington 26-13.

Meanwhile, Melrose didn't have too much trouble with Woburn Memorial on Friday as they won 21-7. That's two games straight that the Red Raiders have won by exactly 14 points.

Burlington's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Melrose, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Burlington was able to grind out a solid win over Melrose in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 43-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
