Basketball Recap: Lake Mary Prep Takes a Loss

Lake Mary Prep played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Altamonte Christian Eagles 59-14. The Griffins haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Altamonte Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexis Hill, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Khloee Cooper, who posted ten points along with seven boards and seven steals.

Lake Mary Prep now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Altamonte Christian, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-6.

Lake Mary Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 35-18 loss against Legacy Charter on the 14th. Altamonte Christian has also already played their next matchup, a 54-46 win against Oviedo on the 14th.
