Roosevelt is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Northfield. Roosevelt walked away with a 28-20 victory over Northfield on Saturday.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Holy Family was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 280 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in August of 2023.
Roosevelt beat Holy Family 34-26 in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Holy Family's Dominic Gabriel, who rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.6 yards per carry.
