Soccer Game Preview: R-S Central vs. East Rutherford

The R-S Central Hilltoppers will face off against the East Rutherford Cavaliers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. R-S Central will be strutting in after a victory while East Rutherford will be coming in after a loss.

R-S Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Chase 8-2 on April 9th. R-S Central have beaten Chase the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Chase has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, East Rutherford fell victim to Hendersonville and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Bearcats, falling 5-0. The defeat continues a trend for East Rutherford in their meetings with Hendersonville: they've now lost nine in a row.

R-S Central's win bumped their record up to 4-9-1. As for East Rutherford, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1.
