Basketball Recap: Neillsville Comes Up Short

Neillsville was the 48-44 winner over Columbus Catholic when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Neillsville Warriors were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 52-51 to the Columbus Catholic Dons. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Neillsville's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Columbus Catholic, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neillsville has already played their next match (against Loyal), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Columbus Catholic will face off against Owen-Withee at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
