On Wednesday, Bayside Academy faced Fairhope in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Everything went the Bayside Academy Admirals' way against the Fairhope Pirates as the Bayside Academy Admirals made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for the Admirals who have now won three matches in a row.
Bayside Academy's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: keeping Fairhope between 19 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-19.
Mary Katherine Whitehurst was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 14 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season.
